Greeneration: Small Steps, Big Change

Swept the surroundings during a clean-up drive to remove scattered trash, dried leaves, and dirt from the area. This activity helped keep the environment clean, created a safer and more pleasant space for everyone.

Collected plastic bottles, egg trays, and other reusable materials and brought them to recycling areas. Recycling reduces the amount of waste in landfills and allows old materials to be transformed into new and useful products.
Planted oregano in a small pot filled with healthy soil and placed it in an area with enough sunlight. Growing oregano not only adds greenery to the surroundings but also provides a natural herb that can be used for cooking and traditional medicine.

Turned off lights that were not in use and unplugged appliances after using them to save electricity. This small action helps reduce power consumption, lowers electricity bills, and conserves energy resources for the future.

Used a reusable tumbler instead of disposable plastic bottles or cups when drinking water or other beverages. This simple practice helps reduce plastic waste, lessens pollution in the environment, and promotes a more sustainable lifestyle.

Closed faucets properly after use and avoided wasting water while washing or cleaning. Saving water in simple ways helps preserve this important resource and ensures that there will be enough clean water available for daily needs.

Refusing single-use plastics is important because it reduces the amount of waste that pollutes oceans, rivers, and communities. Choosing eco-friendly alternatives helps protect wildlife, conserve resources, and promote a healthier environment.
